From the series “Tough Stuff: How to Navigate Faith and Culture”:
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The road of life … sometimes it’s an easy ride. But at times it’s sure to get rough. There are potholes, hazards, and unexpected forks in the road. As followers of Jesus, too often we choose a detour, avoiding the tough stuff altogether. But we’ve got to be willing to navigate the tough stuff, seeking answers to tough questions like “What are we to think?” and “What are we to do?”
Let’s take an honest look at some of the toughest challenges we face in our world today, and look to the Bible to find wisdom that will show us how to navigate faith and culture.
