Living for the Eternal World
By John Lennox
God has given us the power, He’s called us by His glory, and now He has given us His exceeding and precious and great promises, “so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness…”1
Why should I bother? Because, ladies and gentlemen, it’s going to make an eternal difference to you whether you bother or not.
(Run time for this talk is 41 minutes. Scroll down to the 5th video and there’s a John Lennox talk at Harvard about “Living for the Eternal Word.”)
